1. Inferential learning mechanisms are the ability of babies to create, revise and discard theories about the world they live in, making predictions and changing them as it suits the environment.
2. Within the first few days, babies will recognize and imitate others. After a year, they will understand other peoples actions and emotions to external objects. At 18 months they will understand that other people want other things. By three they will tell things in such a way as to fit reality, not realizing that when they are older this will be called lying, and by four years old they will understand what it means to lie.
3. This article assumes that babies are consciously forming these theories about the world, and that they will continue to change to fit the environment until they are about four years old. It also assumes that babies learn based upon interaction with other people. This implies that it is necessary for humans to be part of a group, and that we build upon each other. It also implies that children that receive no contact will not develop as well as the children who do.

Hidden Assumptions
1. Based upon my results, I had no strong reaction to it. I already knew that I felt that way, mostly because of the society that I grew up in, and the people I have had more relations with. On the presidential IAT I felt that it also reflected the society, that between Nixon and Obama, there is more negativity towards Nixon because of Watergate.
2. I believe that I should not pay much attention to my results, because they were based more upon my unconscious thoughts than how I actually think or believe.
3. I do not think that the tests are entirely valid, because I got used to associating, for example, the i key with light skinned people first, then it was hard to shake that when later the i key was used for dark skinned people and good words. The test then implied that I was associating the lighter skinned person with good words as opposed to it just being muscle memory.

What is TOK? Why TOK?
What is TOK?
TOK is the study of how we learn, and how we can prove that we actually know a proposition, instead of just believing it. It makes us learn through ourselves, not through teachers, how we know what we know. It is meant to guide us and it is better that we learn by ourselves because we will understand it better.
Why TOK?
We take the TOK class not only because it is required, but it will help us in other fields of study. We will be able to make convincing arguments in history, understand how other languages work and prove scientific and mathematical principles.

Self as a Knower
As a knower, I identify most with Reason as a WOK and Mathematics as a AOK. In my experience, I can persuade others or be persuaded through a logical argument. Each step in a discussion should build upon a previous step in a way that cannot be refuted so that the argument is valid. Otherwise it is flawed, and nothing is proven. This is valuable in Mathematics, where an equation must be clearly shown to be correct based upon a previous statement. I have a natural talent in Mathematics, and this is due to my ability to prove my statement in a way that is logical, not just miraculous.
